Stata Prize for first-time presenters

Survey Design and Analysis Services, the distributor of Stata in Australia, is sponsoring the “First-time presenter prize” for “excellence in graphical presentation by a first-time presenter”.

This prize will be judged by the ACE 2026 committee and based on excellence in the use of graphics in a presentation at the conference.

To be considered, first-time presenters must submit a paper through the standard ACE 2026 channels and their abstract must be selected for presentation at the conference in 2026.

While the prize is sponsored by SDAS and Stata, there is no requirement that presenters use Stata for their presentation or analysis.

The prize includes a 12-month licence to Stata/MP4, a copy of any Stata Press book from the SDAS bookshop, and $250 in cash.
